CAREGIVERS & SUBSTITUTE CAREGIVERS
We're looking for playful, creative, caring, eco-minded, nature loving caregivers interested in working directly with a mixed age group of young children.
We expect our caregivers to support children's independence in self-care routines and play using responsive caregiving and positive discipline techniques. We spend a lot of time outside in all kinds of weather and provide healthy, cooked-from-scratch meals every day.
Some experience or interest in Waldorf, LifeWays, Montessori, RIE and/or Reggio Emillia highly preferred. Willingness to meet state mandated training requirements within 6 months required. It is critical that you be passionate about natural, play based learning, interested in learning opportunities, open to personal reflection, and experienced in responsive care giving.
Caregivers must be qualified as according to the WI Department of Children and Families (click here for details).
KITCHEN STAFF
Come help us in our small but busy kitchen! If you share our vision of serving healthy, sustainable meals to children and love being in the kitchen, we have part time opportunities available.
BUS DRIVER
Come drive the Nestling House bus (no special license required)...We're looking for a playful, creative, caring, safe driver with an appreciation for young children who is interested in driving our small bus on 3-5 daily trips to transport children 3 years and up from local elementary schools to our center.
